Josh Powell Championship Weekend and Basketball Camp







In conjunction with Josh Powell’s 21 Reasons to Give Foundation, DRIVE Athletics will be participating in bringing the 21 Reasons to Give Back to School Basketball Clinic on Aug 20-22 (Fri, Sat, Sun) from 10 am-2 pm each day. At the end of the last day we will have a celebrity game involving staff and local players. The camp will be for girls and boys ages 7-18 and hosted at Sanderson High School in Raleigh, NC. 21 Reason’s to Give and Drive Athletics are extremely excited to have the opportunity to present this event to raise money for our planned community efforts. We planned to make this event a fun-filled interactive endeavor.

The staff will include current and former college players from the triangle schools and professional players from the NBA, WNBA and Internationally. Staff will include but will not be limited to the following:

Josh Powell- Former NC State Wolfpack Forward and 2 Time NBA champion ’09 and ’10 with the LA Lakers
Dwight Howard- Center for the Orlando Magic
Jerry Stackhouse-Former UNC Guard and Milwaukee Buck
Sundiata Gaines- Guard for the Utah Jazz
Rodney Monroe- Former NC State Wolfpack Guard and ACC leading scorer
Ivy Latta- Former UNC Tarheel guard and current member of the WNBAs Tulsa Shock
LaToya Pringle-Former UNC Tarheel and current WNBA Minnesota Lynx
Erlana Larkins-WNBA NY Liberty
LaTangela Atkins-WNBA Seattle Storm
